Position: Accountant (Reporting)

Department: Finance&Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement packages;
• Perform analytical review of financial statements by researching financial variances and analysing financial data;
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes;
• Oversee the recording and review of financial transactions conducted over a period of time;
• Develop budgets and compare actual costs to estimated costs;
• Other duties as assigned;

Position Qualification

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-year experience as an Inventory/Reporting Accountant;
• Hands-on experience in ERP system;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables;

Knowledge:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or related field;
• Fluency in English, Azerbaijani and Russian;

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Team player with good communication skills;
• Person of high integrity and with self-discipline;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines for month-end close;
• Ability to staying late at the office during month end closing;
